Alumni of the Week #9: Shahina Sulthana

Our ninth “Alumni of the Week” title goes to Shahina of Cohort-I, who has continuously offered support to the Fellowship Program since her graduation. Shahina’s specific areas of interest are 'sanitation' and 'water conservation' because she feels these are the needs of the hour. She has spent most of her life working to improve social and environmental conditions of urban and rural communities.

Shahina has shared her idea of including Organizational profile writing in the technical writing curriculum, and also shared important and interesting links like “100% water meter village”

Thanks very much to Shahina for her steady support and we wish her continued success in her life. Keep it up Shahina!

Alumni of the Week #8: Sikandar Meeranayak

Congratulations to Sikandar, who has earned the Alumni of the Week title once again.

Sikandar has organized a series of street plays in the Hubli-Dharwad area, in which Fellows will spread awareness on rainwater harvesting across the twin cities. He will also be sponsoring all of these plays. This will give Fellows an opportunity to be involved in a new issue and to get out of the classroom and into the community once again.

Thanks Sikandar, and we hope be seeing you on this page even more in the future. Keep it up!
