Rural RTI Rally

The Deshpande Fellows of Cohort 6, are conducting RTI campaign in 13 villages in Dharwad & Kalghatgi taluk. Fellows are educating people on RTI through street plays, songs, rally and one on one talks and motivating the villagers to file RTI of the problem/issue they are facing in their village. The expected no. of application the fellows are targeting are 150+. Looking forward to hear the experience of fellows and also see the change they can initiate in the villages.

Alumni of the Week #22: Savita Y

Our twenty second “Alumni of the Week” title goes to Savita Y of Cohort-II, who has announced & provided a cash prize to the Most Improved Fellow of Cohort 5 and appreciated the fellows hardwork in the Fellowship. Also for referring some new NGOs for the Career Fair. We appreciate her continuous support to the DFP & also congratulate for earning this Alumni of the Week award.

Our fifteenth “Alumni of the Week” title goes to Chandru Lamani of Cohort-II, who has volunteered to teach the RTI module to Cohort 5 Fellows for 3 days while taking leave from his job. We appreciate the time and energy he has continually provided to DFP since his graduation.
